Hal Gevant is the leader of The Jedi Order.
Biography
For many years, Hal lead a quiet life as a freighter captain around Corellia, until he left the sector to see more of the galaxy, and to begin his adventures with the Raptor pirates.
After almost a year in the service of the Warlord 'PaulDaJedi' and reaching the rank of Navy Commander, Hal decided to cut short his criminal activities and joined Akheton Mining corporation. Hal has spent most of his career since then rising through the Akheton corporation, and after a stint working for Alex Tylger at Storm One Recycling, Hal returned to Akheton, where Dverol Nact made him Vice President.
Dark times befell the Akheton Corporation in the third quarter of year 7, firstly the original mining arm was severed, and secondly, AVC's founder, Dverol Nact, was murdered by the Villainous Lamy Homo, but only after, sensing his end was near, Dverol gave over the entire corporation to Hal.
Hal, and those that remained loyal to the Akheton Corporation struggled for a while, but quickly began to rebuild, they knew that time was all they need, and Naboo would look after them, as they would look after it.
After a year Hal retired from running Akheton corporation. His chosen successor Jenos Idanian added Akheton Transport Services and created Akheton Mining Corporation once more, taking the corporation to three factions for the first time in it's history.
Hal had kept his Force sensitivity relatively secret for most of his life, having been found so by a Jedi hermit, who had encouraged him to remain hidden. As Hal surpassed that original Master, and gained more power, he began to question his neutrality, and decided, with some sadness, that his future lay elsewhere than Naboo. Having randomly met the Noghri Jedi Master Ezekiel, Hal joined the Jedi Order in Year 11.
After a Year, Hal was promoted to Knight while making his lightsaber, both as a challenge and to honour his adopted home world which he still missed, Hal crafted his saber with a combination of crystals, calculated to make the blade colour match that of the planet he'd grown to love, Naboo.
After another year the title Master was bestowed upon him and Hal quickly eventually rose to sit on the council of the Jedi Order, assisting Grand Master Thragg, Master of the Order Johnny Moon, and Master Onasha as much as he could, as the membership of the Jedi Order swells to greater and greater numbers.
Early in year 14, like many sentients in the Galaxy, Hal was struck by the Derra Virus, and after being unconscious for 2 weeks, awoke to find his species had changed to Cathar.
After a brief period of solitude to accustom to his new form, Hal rejoined the Jedi Council and became leader of The Jedi Order in Year 16.
