Chir`da Al`dira

Chir`da Al`dira is a Twi'lek from Ryloth.

Biography

Born in a rural part of Ryloth, Chir`da was from the Dira clan. Her uncle was clan leader, and he was very rich. However much of the family did not share their wealth, and Chir`da's parents ended up very poor.

When her mother died young, Chir`da was left to the care of her father. He was a kind but sad man, and even as a youngster Chir`da learned to fend for herself.

She got a job as a waitress at the local bar, called The Enki. She worked there as soon as she turned the legal age, and spent six years waiting on drunkards and slobs.

Not all of the patrons were horrible, though. She met Alexander Weston, and instantly connected with him. The Corellian was looking for a Twi'lek friend of his, and Chir`da asked if she could come along. Weston agreed, and for the first time Chir`da began to see some hope for her life.

Personality

Despite her rough circumstances, Chir`da has kept a cheery attitude. She has described herself as a "free spirit" and tries to enjoy the most of every day. She believes that as long as you are alive, you still have some hope.
